Department of Parks and Rec Presents New Park Entrance Option

[Note: in drawings E&F: Sherier Place is at the bottom, the main park is at the top]

At April 1's PCA General Meeting, DC Department of Parks and Recreation Landscape Architect Sherry Frear presented two new options on designs for the Rec Center entrance for the community's input and consideration; these supercede the previous four ideas that were discussed. As Ms. Frear mentioned at the meeting, these two options incorporate ideas and comments received to date from Palisades neighbors.

Please provide your input for this important process!

A display of the drawings is at the Palisades Library until April 30 for comments. Comments also can be forwarded electronically to Sherry Frear at sherry.frear@dc.gov.

Current-round PCF Proposals are due April 30th

Check out the Palisades Community Fund page to see what grants were made last year ... and how you or your organization can apply for one in 2008.
