CRIME WATCH

There were 20 crimes in the Palisades area during the month of October — five burglaries, two thefts, seven thefts from automobiles, two stolen automobiles, one attempted auto theft, two cases of destruction of property, and one disorderly conduct for stalking.
The stalking case occurred in the 4500 block of Salem Lane during the evening of October 9. One case of destruction of property in the 5800 block of Sherier Place on October 5 during the day resulted in less than $200 in damages. The second destruction of property incident was in the 2200 block of 49th Street October 8 at an unknown time. There were more than $200 in damages.
Automobiles were stolen in the 4300 block of Macomb Street on October 7, and the 4700 block of Reservoir Road on October 5. There was an attempted auto theft on October 22, also in the 4700 block of Reservoir Road. Thefts from automobiles took place in the 2900 block of Foxhall Road (October 1), the 2200 block of 46th Street (October 7), the 4900 block of W Street (October 10), the 5100 block of Cathedral Avenue (October 7), the 4000 block of 47th Street (October 15), the 4800 block of MacArthur Boulevard (October 1), and the 2200 block of 49th Street (October 26).
An attempted theft from an automobile occurred in the 3900 block of 47th Street on October 18. House burglaries occurred in the 5100 block of Palisades Lane on October 7, in the 5200 Block of Watson Street on October 27, and in the 4700 block of MacArthur on October 11. A private office was burglarized in the 5100 block of MacArthur on October 22, and there was a burglary at a health care facility in the 4800 block of MacArthur on October 26.
