The following grants were approved by the Palisades Community Fund at the November 2000 meeting:

Friends of Palisades Library: $1,800. The grant will be used to fund permanent installation of a teak garden bench, matching chair and trash receptacle in the library's front courtyard.

The Friends of Palisades Park: $1,000. The grant will be used to increase the number of trash receptacles that serve the playing field and recreation areas.

The following grants were approved by the Palisades Communtiy Fund at the June 2001 meeting:

Cub Scout Pack 61: $500. The grant will be used to restore and reposition two picnic tables at the Palisades Red Center that were vandalized.

Hardy Playground Pals: $3,000. The grant will be used to furnish new equipment in the Big Kids' Lot.

In addition, the PCF committee approved a reimbursement of $542 for plant materials already installed by John Finney and Irene Sinclair to reforest the triangle median at Loughboro Rd. and Dalecarlia near Sibley Hospital.

The following grant was approved by the Palisades Communtiy Fund at the November 2001 meeting:

Capital Crescent Trail/Manning Place: $1000. The grant will be used for restoration and replanting on the slope leading to the CCT from Manning Place.
