The following grants were approved by the PCA General Membership in May, 2006:

1) An annual contribution of $1500 to the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region, the organization that receives and manages all contributions to the PCF. They ask that the more fortunate funds contribute to the Foundation's efforts.

2) $886 to Woodrow Wilson Senior High School for the purchase and shipping of one erg rowing machine.

3) $2000 to the Palisades Rec Center for 50 new folding chairs.

4) $475 to the MacArthur Beautification Group to repair the kiosk outside Safeway.

5) $3350 to Discovery Creek for their "Back to School Event" in the fall of 2006.
