2nd District Police

Police protection for the Palisades is supervised by the 2nd District headquarters located at 3320 Idaho Ave. NW, in back of the Giant on Wisconsin Avenue. The 2nd District¹s jurisidction covers the northwest quadrant of the District of Columbia. The 2nd District¹s police coverage is broken down into nine Police Services Areas or PSA¹s. The Palisades is the responsibility of PSA 203, which also has responsibility for Wesley Heights and Spring Valley.

The Second District has a Citizens Advisory Council which meets the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30p.m.in the Second District Community Room. The Chair of the Council is James Lively at 338-0752.

Representatives of PSA 203 attend the monthly meetings of either the The Palisades Citizens Association or ANC3D.
